Seed Training Courses

Seed Sampling Officers Training Course (1 Day)

This course will enable participants to draw samples from officially certified seed lines for the purpose of obtaining official purity and germination certificates.

NB. All course material will be supplied. Course costs NZ $450 + GST per person. Cost of post-course auditing is in addition to course fees. Prerequisites include an eyesight test, post-course proficiency audits and approval by MAF.

Export Seed Inpector Training Course (Part-Day)

This course will enable participants to draw samples and inspect them for the purpose of obtaining plant health certificates. Inspectors are also able to carry out post-inspection product security inspections on seed lines being relocated from a seed store.

NB. Course material supplied. Course costs NZ $250 + GST per person ($150 if you've completed the SSO course). Cost of post-course auditing is additional. Prerequisites include an eyesight test, post-course proficiency audits and approval by MAF.
